Tributos del Ota is born in the Santa María de Dota valley, located 64 km southeast of San José between the mountains of the Talamanca mountain range. The valley enjoys stable weather conditions favoring an optimal and homogeneous ripening of the fruit. Due to its altitude, a slow maturation favors the production of very sweet fruit, with good acidity, fruity notes and a wide variety of descriptors. When he finished secondary school in 2017, Enrique proposed to the Romero Chacon family that they start publicizing their work as coffee producers and produce their coffees under their own family name instead of selling it to larger mills and remaining anonymous. Since then he has had the undisputed support of all members of his family in helping this fantastic coffee come to life. We are pleased to be able to offer the fruits of their tireless labor this year.
