Thanks to the magic of chemistry it is possible to enjoy really good coffee without the caffeine. Swiss Water’s patented decaffeination process takes advantage of the concept of solubility to extract the caffeine from a batch of green coffee beans without removing any of the important chemical components that lead to the fabulous smells and tastes you get from roasted coffee. Most of the time we pick coffees we think would do well from the Swiss Water process and contract to send them up to their state of the art facility in Vancouver. Once they’re done working their alchemy, they ship the coffee back to us so we can offer the decaf version of a coffee alongside it’s full-strength progenitor.  On other occasions we will purchase an already decaffeinated coffee from Swiss Water or a dealer to take a small spot position of an origin that one of our customers has requested.
